PRINTS: The images on this page are available as high-quality ‘giclee’ prints, printed to order on either archival fine art paper or canvas. The prints are made one at a time using the best available scanning and printing technology, with light-fast permanent inks and have great fealty to the original oil painting. The price is for the unframed print.
The listed dimensions are of the image. If printed on paper, the print will have a 3” white border where it is signed by the artist. If printed on canvas, there is a 3” white border so that the image can be ‘stretched’ (mounted on a wooden frame like an oil painting). Professional matting and framing behind glass is recommended for paper prints, and canvas prints can be mounted by a professional framer and then hung either framed or unframed ((but NOT matted or behind glass). Canvas prints are signed on the reverse, and the printed signature from the original oil painting is visible on the front. Remember that matting and framing can add 6-8” to each dimension for the paper prints, and framing can add 2-4'“ for the canvas prints.
RECOMMENDED SIZES: The prints can be made in two recommended sizes: medium (roughly 18 x 24”) large (roughly 24 x 30”). They can be printed in different sizes by special order.
